Incident Reporting Form

Harassment, intimidation or bullying is an intentional electronic, written, verbal, or physical act that: Physically harms a student or damages the student’s property. Has the effect of substantially interfering with a student’s education. Is so severe, persistent, or pervasive that it creates an intimidating or threatening educational environment. Has the effect of substantially disrupting the orderly operation of the school.

Complaint Procedure

White River provides equal educational opportunity and treatment for all students in all aspects of the academic and activities program without discrimination. Students, parents/guardians, and staff are eligible to file a complaint of alleged discrimination.

Anyone with an allegation of discrimination may request an informal meeting with the compliance officer, Mr. Scott Harrison at 360 829-3822, to resolve their concerns. If unable to resolve the issue at this meeting, or at any time, the complainant may submit a signed written complaint to the compliance officer.  Furthermore, if formal investigation and review of a written complaint is not resolved satisfactorily, the complainant will be advised of further steps that may be pursued.  For more details of this procedure, please refer to Board Policy 3210.
