Our Vision Statement

The vision of the Glacier Middle School counseling program is to provide a comprehensive school counseling program that aligns with the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) model and supports the academic, personal/social, and career needs of all students. We seek to provide a school counseling program that supports the whole child and to prepare students for success beyond high school.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Glacier Middle School counseling program is to provide preventative and responsive counseling services in the areas of academic, career, and personal/social development. The professional school counselors at Glacier Middle School hold themselves to the highest standards and continually monitor the effectiveness of the program delivery. Our school counseling program uses Restorative Justice Practices (RJP), Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) as a foundation to improve our school culture and climate. The professional school counselors provide a collaborative approach with the school family community to help students to overcome challenges that interfere with learning and reach their fullest potential.
